WS4: Building your Asset Health Management Roadmap Workshop: Practical Exercises to Impact Your World

Michael Watson, Product Application Specialist, Fluke Corporation Sarah Taguiam, Product Manager, Fluke Corporation

Description

Practical exercises to make a difference in your Asset Health Management and Reliability programs.
Your Asset Health Management and Reliability programs are only getting more complex.
Between the global pandemic, supply chain challenges, disruptive technologies, remote work, and staff shortages, maintenance teams are being stretched and expected to do more with less. Proactive maintenance strategies can help. Organizations are turning to reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) as well as condition-based maintenance (CBM) programs to optimize asset health. Understanding function and failure is the backbone of any RCM or CBM program. It lets teams focus on failure modes and prioritize plant systems, while sensors and software manage automated data collection and subsequent tasks. However, a successful CBM or RCM program is more than data and making them sustainable requires understanding the impact that innovative technologies have on people and processes. This hands-on workshop provides the insights and templates for attendees to plan their Asset Health Management (AHM) journey. We will help you understand how to select a strategy with the appropriate technology and implement it into a new or existing program. We will also provide technology demonstrations, overview process and timeline, and people or resources needed to successfully implement within an organization. Our workshop will be an educational, hands-on engagement for maintenance and reliability professionals beginning an Asset Health Management (AHM) journey, as well as professionals working in programs that needs to be refreshed, restarted, or taken to the next level.

Key Takeaways:

  • Break down the seemingly “insurmountable” challenges into a roadmap for better reliability
  • Understand asset criticality and accurately assess how it benefits your organization
  • Combine multiple technologies and match failure modes to effectively eliminate and/or mitigate root causes
  • Harness the power of connected data to make the right repair at the right time
  • Leverage CBM and RCM best practices so teams can do more with less
  • Bridge the growing skills gap with reliability-centered fundamentals by leveraging today’s technological capabilities
  • Understand the keys of implementing a new program and the pillars of a successful, sustainable program
