Description
It is one thing understanding resonance, but quite another to prove that resonance exists and to correct it. In this session, we will briefly explain the bump test, impact test, speed change test, run-up/run-down test, and modal testing, and contrast those with ODS testing and motion amplification. And then we will briefly mention how we can correct the resonance with structural modification and a tuned absorber. It will be a great summary of all the techniques, and we will demonstrate many of them with “Elvis”, the new Mobius test-rig.
